Figuring out how to get your first big internship or full-time position can be daunting. Campus career counselors may be stretched too thin or may offer more theoretical than practical advice. We propose that you develop a strategic plan to make your first career move a purposeful one. You (and your parents) have invested a lot of hard work and money over the last three or four years and now you should both be able to realize the benefits. We challenge you to invest the same amount of time in yourself and your career as you invested in your last major class project. This time you’re the project.
